Lava Lake's grass-fed lamb is available in a variety of individual cuts and in our money-saving packages, as well as half and whole lamb packages. Our lamb is raised sustainably and humanely on family ranches in the Northern Rockies and is dry aged for 4-6 days, cryovaced (vacuum-packed and sealed) and fresh-frozen in a USDA-inspected plant. Each flavorful cut of grass-fed lamb arrives in pristine condition, ready to prepare or store in the freezer.
Please note that we ship on Tuesdays for delivery on Thursday. You will be able to choose the week of delivery when you place your order.
About our RanchOur headquarters is Lava Lake Ranch, located just southeast of Sun Valley where the Pioneer Mountains collide with the Snake River Plain. Here we raise 500 acres of hay for winter feeding. As a family of ranchers and environmentalists, we are committed to restoring and preserving this land because of its history, its beauty and its biological diversity. Lava Lake's operating area extends from the deserts of the Snake River Plain south of the Ranch at roughly 3,000' to the high peaks of the Boulder and Pioneer Mountains north of us at nearly 12,000'. From sagebrush, grassland plains and lava flows to river, foothill and mountain ecosystems, this landscape is rich in biological diversity. |
