Ginger Soy Lamb Patties

Lamb Patties

  • 2 pounds ground Lava Lake Lamb
  • 2 Tablespoons ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 shallot, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds

Mix all ingredients together, reserving half of the sesame seeds. Shape into 1 oz balls and press flat. Coat with remaining seeds. Saute, bake or grill. Serve with Curried Apple Chutney and plain yogurt.

Curried Apple Chutney

  • 8 Apples diced
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • Curry powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup black currants

Cook until tender and tasty.
